Is Hypnotherapy Safe?

When hypnotherapy clients visit me for the first time, in consultation, the questions they usually ask are:

  • Is Hypnotherapy safe?
  • Will I stay in Control?
  • How Does it work?
  • Can Hypnotherapy help me to stop smoking?
  • Can hypnotherapy help me to manage my stress levels?

It's important that all my clients receive clear and positive answers to these questions – and if you are going to use one of my programmes it's equally important that I answer these questions for you too, so…

Is Hypnotherapy Safe and will I stay in Control?

The answer to both these questions is yes. Sometimes clients will come to me feeling wary of the process – perhaps someone who has watched a stage hypnotist at work may link the experience to therapeutic hypnosis. The two things are very different. Hypnotherapy is a safe, relaxing and positive experience that will encourage you to drift into a state of deep, calming relaxation, helping you to respond to positive suggestions relating to changes in your lifestyle. Throughout the process you will remain in control of your mind, your thoughts and your actions.

All my hypnotherapy programmes available on download come with full instructions, guiding you gently through relaxation techniques, guided meditation and therapeutic hypnosis. If you are new to this process and would like to learn how to relax with a guided meditation before trying a broader programme my meditation downloads are available on site. There is even a free download for you to try!

How Does Hypnotherapy Work?

A qualified hypnotherapist uses hypnotic techniques to support the client in making beneficial, positive changes in their life. During hypnosis the client is led by the gentle sound of the therapist's voice into a state of deep relaxation. Although you will remain in complete control the hypnotherapist will take you on a journey where your mind and your imagination are becoming more and more open to positive suggestions that will allow you to make realistic changes in your life.

Can Hypnotherapy help me to stop Smoking?

The answer is yes. Many hypnotherapists, myself included, have helped people to give up smoking. Clients who have used hypnotherapy gain the willpower and self belief to quit because hypnotherapy works on the simple principles of reinstatement and positive suggestion. Hypnotherapy allows you to examine the reasons why you smoke and then moves on to suggest how you can stop. Using hypnotherapy will help you to build the will power to say no to cigarettes, no to smoking and yes to a better, healthier and more positive way of life.

If you are ready to say NO to cigarettes and smoking my full programme is available for you to download. You will find details on the Hypno4Health webpage, Stop Smoking – For Life.

Can Hypnotherapy help me to manage my Stress Levels?

The answer is yes. Hypnotic techniques can be used with a broad range of issues, including feelings of low self-esteem, anger, anxiety and stress. As individuals living in a constantly changing and challenging environment we all experience stress in our lives and we all respond to different situations in different ways. A programme of hypnotherapy could help you to let go of negative thoughts and actions, learn to maintain healthy levels of stress and live life to the full. If you are looking for a more permanent solution for stress relief hypnotherapy could be the answer.

Full details of my Stress Management Premier Hypnotherapy Download and shorter meditation are available on this website.

The methods used in all downloads have been applied to my private clients – testimonials are available on the website.

I am receiving regular requests for more programmes on Hypno4Health and I am in the process of producing more right now. I take my time in perfecting each recording. They need to be of the highest quality so please be patient.

Stay positive, stay strong, move forward.

My very best wishes,
Margaret
